Fabric for My Gown

Finally!

After weeks of delayed delivery, my fabric is now with Veluz... which means that by next week, I will have my second fitting! Yipeeeee!

I'm so happy that now our wedding preps pace is picking up a bit. At least my excitement is slowly building up again. These past few weeks I couldn't say much about our wedding preps because there weren't anything productive that happened. But now that our big day is fast approaching (2 MORE MONTHS TO GO!) I really have to do something or else we will be scrambling for appointments and all. Well, I think it's still much better this way, because I really prefer Enrique being here when we do our final plans.

2 more months... Dang!

But of course, more exciting is this fact.... 3 more weeks and Enrique's here!

Invites Concerns

My friend Brian has asked me when I intend to send out our invites, and I told him that we plan to print them sometime end-October. He commented that maybe it is a little too late and I kind of agree. There is only one reason why the printing and sending of invites is late, and that is because Enrique said so. He wants to be here when the draft is finalized and when the printing starts. More importantly, he wants to be here when the invites are sent, i.e. he wants to be with me to personally send out the invites, especially to our principal sponsors.

I sure hope that we will have enough time to do this. At least I sent out Save The Date cards (or rather e-mail save the dates) and the our families and friends are already aware that out big day will be on the 9th December.

Anyway, our invitations will just be simple, given that the invitations are part of Fernwood's package. As we have planned before, we will just emboss the wordings, and if budget permits, have double envelopes.



*Sigh*

I'm sooo looking forward to Enrique coming back home. So much stuff to do!

Measurement Taking of the Entourage

Last Sunday, I have gathered the girls of our entourage to have their measurements taken in our house. I was really happy seeing and experiencing another big step for our wedding preps. During that time, we have discussed the final designs and colors to use for the entourage. We have decided that all bridesmaids will wear the same style, while the secondary sponsors will have "straps" designs. The flowergirls dresses will all be the same as well. The major change for them is the color of their dresses. Instead of the original plan of using mustardy-goldeny yellow, a brighter, younger color will be used.

*Sigh*

This marks the beginning of the major preparations we have to do until our big day. My newly wed friends told me that the next 3 months will be so fast, for all we know, I'm walking down the aisle... Exciting!
